This award winning nurse prefers the personal side of health care
It is a well-known fact that a worried nurse does better research than the FBI. “I find my job has many roles,” admits Dana Bowerman, a registered practical nurse at Helen Henderson Care Centre. “One of my favourites is being a detective. I love the feeling I get when I figure-out how to help someone. It could be something that I figure-out and put in place myself, or something with a physician’s assistance. It’s a great feeling to solve a medical problem.” A nurse at the popular long-term care home…
