Young PSW recognized for good work
A Personal Support Worker at Helen Henderson Care Centre is starting off the New Year on the right foot. Katie Castellan, a staff member of the long-term care home for almost two years, is the home’s first Staff Spotlight of 2019. Laurie Leckie has had an unconventional life. Raised but two loving grandparents in Sarnia, she, in turn, helped raise her three sisters and brother. When she was old enough to enter the workforce, she became a Residential Aide and retrained as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN). Home to host fall open house
A retirement home in Amherstview is showcasing its award winning programs and services at an open house this fall. Helen Henderson Retirement Lodge, an accredited retirement home owned and operated by the Gibson family, is opening its doors to the public on Sept. 22 from 1 to 4 pm.
