Residents Council
Residents Council exists for all residents to participate in. This gives each resident the opportunity to address any concerns they may have at all to do with the home. These meetings are also held for menu planning on a regular basis. Residents get together and plan their menu's for the dietary department to put together for them.The Residents Council meets regularly to ensure that the residents and families social, emotional and physical needs are met. All issues are taken seriously and resolved in a timely fashion by department heads or management.
Family Council
The Family Council is an organized, self led, self determining, democratic group of family and friends of our residents. In 2004, the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care acknowledged the important work of Family Councils by approving annual funding for the Provincial Family Council Program. Our Council meets regularly to ensure the residents' (and families') social, emotional and physical needs are met. All issues are taken seriously and resolved in a timely fashion by department heads or management.
Please join Family Council for its next meeting at 2 pm on the second Tuesday of every month in the Fireplace Room at Carveth Care Centre. Check our calendar of events (on our website under Carveth Care Centre News) for exact meeting times. Everyone welcome.

Ministerial Association
Our Ministerial Association and Spiritual Advisors contribute to a multi-cultural and diverse spiritual group. They help to ensure that you and your family members come to terms with important issues that you face as your family member settles into their new home. Multi-denominational religious services are held where residents can come together as a group , yet also provide one-on-one care in the privacy of the residents room. Our Spiritual advisers and Ministerial Association can offer exceptional insight to assist the care team in understanding and caring for your family member.
